Join the Fort Pitt Museum and Michael Ramsey on Jan. 6 and 7 to construct your own 18th century-style blanket coat.
Blanket coats were popular attire in the 18th century. Made from the fabric of a blanket, these coats provided the durability and warmth needed in the harsh conditions of the frontier.
This is a two-day workshop running on Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, Jan. 7, 2018: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
This workshop costs $350 if you register before Dec. 1 and $375 if you register after Dec. 1. Please register online. Registration for this program will close on Sunday, Dec. 31.
Workshop registration includes all materials necessary.
Because of the enrollment limitations and costs associated with our workshop, we regret that we cannot offer you a full refund if you cancel your registration. Cancellations given 30 days or more before the workshop will incur a $75 cancellation fee.
Cancellations given less than 30 days before the workshop will not be refunded unless your spot can be filled. If your spot is filled, you will incur a $75 cancellation fee.
