The Fort Pitt Museum invites Cub Scouts to participate in a guided program that will include tours of the museum, Point State Park, and Fort Pitt Block House, hands-on activities, and living history demonstrations provided by costumed re-enactors that will fulfill multiple Cub Scout Adventure Requirements (to be announced).
- $10 for Cub Scouts
- $5 for Adults
- $5 for non-Cub Scout children 6-17
- Free for non-Cub Scout children 5 and under
All Cub Scouts will receive a custom Cub Scout Day at the Fort Pitt Museum Activity patch and activity packet as part of their registration. The cost for adults and any non-Cub Scout children does not include the cost of a patch or packet. If you would like to purchase an activity patch and packet, please register as a Cub Scout (and indicate status as an adult or non-Cub Scout child in the comments section provided in registration).
Advance registration is required. Registration for this event will close on Friday, October 20.
If registering as a Cub Scout Pack, please indicate your pack number in your registration in the space provided.
If you are registering individually, but would like to participate with another pack, please indicate that in your registration in the space provided.
Check-in: 10 – 11 a.m.
Flag Raising: 10:30 a.m. – Volunteers are needed to be official flag bearers.
Programming: 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Each Cub Scout or Cub Scout Pack will receive a schedule that includes 15-minute stations throughout the museum and Point State Park. Due to the nature of some activities, some stations will be 30 minutes long. Each schedule will include a 30 minute lunch/restroom break to allow Cub Scouts and accompanying adults an opportunity to eat, use the restroom, and visit the Fort Pitt Museum shop.
Based on the number of individuals or pack registrations, multiple individuals or packs may be grouped together for programming.
