in partnership with the Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania

Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes are invited to enjoy a day at the Fort Pitt Museum during its third annual Frontier Women’s Day to learn about Pittsburgh and women in the 18th century.

Girl Scouts will participate in short take-home craft activities and longer workshops to create small accessories appropriate for a young 18th century woman. Also, weather permitting, all are invited to enjoy a Living History encampment to learn about cooking outdoors.

Programming will also be provided by the Fort Pitt Museum’s partners: the Fort Pitt Block House and Point State Park.

Interested Girl Scouts and Leaders must register through the Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania online.
