Save the date for Girl Scout Day at the Fort Pitt Museum!
The Fort Pitt Museum invites Girl Scouts to attend the fourth annual Girl Scout Day.
Daisies, Brownies, Juniors, and Cadettes are invited to enjoy a full day at the Fort Pitt Museum to learn about early Pittsburgh and women in the 18th century.
Registered Scouts will receive a special event patch, pencil, Girl Scout guidebook, and a schedule to guide them from activity to activity. Activities will include hikes of Point State Park led by the park naturalist, tours, games, make and take crafts, and, weather permitting, laundry, cooking, and weapons demonstrations provided by Fort Pitt Museum costumed re-enactors.
Scouts participating in Girl Scout Day will complete various badge requirements. Please note that some badge work may need to be completed either prior to or after the event. The Fort Pitt Museum does not provide Girl Scout Badges. A final list of badge requirements and corresponding activities will be provided to registered scouts prior to the program date.
