The Fort Pitt Museum invites homeschool families to explore the museum and its neighboring partner, Point State Park. Families will be able to participate in guided tours, hands-on activities, and make-and-take crafts, and watch musket demonstrations (weather depending). All participants will receive a Fort Pitt patch and activity packet upon arrival that is included in the cost of the program.
This program includes admission to the Fort Pitt Museum for the day. The Fort Pitt Museum does not have indoor lunch facilities, but families bringing packed lunches are encouraged to eat outside in Point State Park.
$8 for adults and $5 for children 6-17. Free for kids under 5 years old. History Center members also receive free admission.
Pre-registration is required and registration will close at the end of the day on Monday, April 17, 2017. If space and materials are available, families may register at the door on the day of the event. Please register online.
