Join James Beard Award semifinalist Meredith Meyer Grelli of Wigle Whiskey and Somerset Daily American and liquor.com reporter Cody McDevitt for a drink and a conversation on Pittsburgh’s distilling, cocktail, and bartending scene—past and present.

Moderated by local journalist Mackenzie Carpenter, formerly of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Grelli and McDevitt will discuss their recent books, “The Whiskey Rebellion and the Rebirth of Rye: A Pittsburgh Story” and “Pittsburgh Drinks: A History of Cocktails, Nightlife, and Bartending Tradition,” connecting historical topics to Pittsburgh’s ever-growing cocktail and distilling scene.

Following the presentation, both authors will be available for conversation and book signing. Copies of their books will be available for purchase from the Heinz History Center.
