No matter your age, there is always something new to discover at the History Center.

The History Center is excited to offer virtual programs and museum visit experiences for learners of all ages 

A variety of engaging and meaningful educational opportunities are available throughout the year, including new virtual school programs, guided and self-guided visits to the museum, programs for preschoolers, badge days for Scouts, continuing education for teachers, an award-winning National History Day program, and much more.

In honor of Teacher Appreciation Week and to thank all educators for their important work during a difficult year, the History Center and its family of museums will offer FREE admission for teachers during the month of May.  

All educators, including grades K-12 and college, with a valid teacher ID are eligible to receive free admission to the Heinz History Center, Western Pennsylvania Sports Museum, Fort Pitt Museum, and Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village from May 1-31.
