Homeschools and Learning Pods

Heinz History Center Homeschool Programs

The History Center invites all homeschool students or groups of students who have formed Learning Pods for the 2020-21 academic year to enjoy any of our virtual or in-person learning experiences. We will tailor any of our virtual programs guided tours, or self-guided visits to meet the needs of your group.

You can access our History at Home page for fun, history-related activities for a range of age groups, and our educator resource page to find lessons, primary sources, and videos to use in your teaching.

If you have questions about History Center programing or reservations, please contact us at reservations@heinzhistorycenter.org.

Homeschool Day at Meadowcroft

Once again, Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village is opening its doors to our region’s homeschoolers and their families for a unique opportunity to experience the development of our region. Through our hands-on educational programs that explore life on the land in the upper Ohio Valley, students will experience the cultural changes of our region from prehistory to the 19th century.

Check back for future homeschool day dates at Meadowcroft.
