Smithsonian’s Portraits of Pittsburgh
Explore the basics of portraiture and discover stories of famous Pittsburghers.
Using close looking, interactive storytelling, and hands-on activities, students will learn about different types of portraits and the Pittsburghers whose portraits belong in the National Portrait Gallery. This program includes a portrait making activity suitable for younger children.
