Self-Guided Visits

Design Your Experience at the History Center

Self-guided visits are an option for educators who would like to facilitate their own museum experience and direct student learning in small groups. We encourage educators to tour the museum to prepare for your visit, and free admission is provided. Gallery worksheets or activities that help focus students’ time in the exhibits are recommended.

Self-guided groups can explore the museum using digital scavenger hunts on the GuidiGO platform. Due to current sanitation guidelines, all groups must provide their own devices.

Self-guided groups are welcomed by a museum educator and given an overview of the museum.
