Audience: Suitable for all educators.
Cost: Free. The cost of Act 48 credits and coffee and doughnuts are covered.

Educators are invited to learn about how Pittsburghers almost said y’all instead of yinz. In this Act 48 workshop, educators will focus on the events related to the dispute between Virginia and Pennsylvania over the control of Pittsburgh. Educators will walk away with content knowledge, resources, and activities to utilize in the classroom including debate strategies to invoke critical thinking skills among their students.
