Save the date for Girl Scout Day at the Fort Pitt Museum!

The Fort Pitt Museum invites Girl Scouts to attend the sixth annual Girl Scout Day.

Girl Scouts are invited to enjoy a full day of programming to learn about early Pittsburgh, women in the 18th century, and the environment. Provided in partnership with the Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania Council, programming features living history re-enactors, hands-on workshops, and tours.

Schedule

9 a.m. – 2 p.m. – Check-in
10 a.m. – 4 p.m. – Scheduled Program
Noon – 1 p.m. – Lunch (on your own)
5 p.m. – Museum Closes

Cost & Registration

Cost: $10 per Girl Scout and $5 per adult chaperone

Payment is due upon registration. Registration will close on Friday, April 10, or until registrations have sold out. Please register online.

Refund Policy: Full refunds will be issued to registrants who can no longer attend the event when notice is given no later than Monday, April 20. Registrants who give notice after Monday, April 20, will be refunded 50% of the registration cost.

Registrants will receive information about the program, including an individual schedule and information about activities no later than end of business on Friday, May 1.

Badges

All Girl Scouts are welcome to attend this full day of programming, but depending on level, not all Girl Scouts may complete requirements to badges. In 2019, Girl Scouts participated in activities that related to the following petals and badges. An updated list of associated program badge requirements will be provided closer to the program date.

Please note that the Fort Pitt Museum does not provide Girl Scout badges and some requirements may need to be completed either before or after Girl Scout Day in order to earn a badge.
