Learn about fascinating stories of Pittsburgh history and enhance your museum experience on a Guided Tour at the History Center. On September 3, museum docents will lead a special “Music and Culture in the Steel City” tour through the Pittsburgh: A Tradition of Innovation exhibition.
Discover some of history’s most prominent musicians hailing from Western Pa. and the region’s contributions to jazz. Step inside Pittsburgh’s premier jazz club, The Crawford Grill, and listen to music from jazz musicians such as George Benson, Billy Strayhorn, Stanley Turrentine, and Mary Lou Williams.

Visitors must sign up for Guided Tours at the admissions desk prior to each tour. The tours are included with regular museum admission and will be capped at 25 attendees.
