Discover 19,000 years of history, all in one day!
Bring the whole family to enjoy a safe and fun outdoor adventure at Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village in Avella, Pa.
Explore the prehistoric wonders of the Meadowcroft Rockshelter, a National Historic Landmark recognized as the oldest site of human habitation in North America, and journey through time in three re-created historic villages. Step inside a wigwam in a 16th-century Monongahela Indian Village, throw a tomahawk in an 18th-century frontier area, and watch a blacksmith forge red-hot iron in a 19th-century rural village.
