Join former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Charlie Batch at the Heinz History Center on Thursday, Dec. 3, as we “Stuff the Pittsburgh Trolley” with toys for families in need this holiday season!
The event is held in partnership with the Best of the Batch Foundation’s annual Batch-A-Toys drive.
As a difficult year comes to a close, help us bring joy to kids in our region by dropping off new and unwrapped toys at the History Center as we fill up our iconic Pittsburgh Trolley #1724 in the museum’s first–floor Great Hall.
Charlie Batch will be in the building from 10 a.m. to noon to greet visitors (socially distanced, of course!). For the first hour, he’ll be joined by a very special guest from the North Pole – Santa Claus himself!
No admission is required to attend the Stuff the Trolley event on Dec. 3.
If visitors would like to explore the History Center’s exhibitions, admission is required. Kids age 17 and under receive FREE admission through Dec. 31 thanks to support from community partner Howard Hanna Real Estate Services.
Masks are required at all times while inside the History Center. Learn more about our health & safety measures here.
Can’t make this event? No problem! The History Center will be collecting new and unwrapped toys for the Batch-A-Toys drive from Dec. 1 through Dec. 21. A drop-off box will be located in the museum’s first-floor Great Hall.
Batch-A-Toys is a community-wide program where Best of the Batch Foundation adopts more than 150 Allegheny County families and provides toys to children, essential household items to the adults, and a holiday meal basket for the entire family. More than 8,000 toys and household items are donated through the Foundation’s incredible volunteers, donors, and partner sites; more than 250 volunteers at our annual Wrapping Party at the Clubhouse then wrap the donations.
