Join us outside this summer at the History Center’s Penn Avenue lot for family-friendly activities that explore stories from our region!
On Saturday, June 12, we’re celebrating the City of Champions with sports-themed activities. Test your skills in a training camp challenge, design your own team jersey, and find yourself in the middle of Pittsburgh’s most iconic sports moments at the Summer Sidewalk Series green screen.
This outdoor event will take place in the lot adjacent to the Museum Conservation Center at 1221 Penn Avenue, just around the corner from the History Center’s main entrance on Smallman Street.
Participation in the Summer Sidewalk Series is FREE for everyone.
Please note that this family-friendly event takes place outdoors. In case of severe inclement weather, the outdoor event will be canceled and activities will be offered indoors (included with regular museum admission). Check the History Center’s website or social media platforms for the most-up-to-date information regarding event cancellations.
Regular admission is required to access all History Center and Sports Museum exhibitions.
