Night at the History Museum

Join a “security guard” to explore the History Center after hours and search for pieces of a magical artifact that allow life-like figures to come alive every night! After completing your mission, enjoy late night snacks and a movie before “camping” in the museum’s Education Center.

Information for all Night at the History Museum overnighters

  • Time: 7:30 p.m. Friday to 10 a.m. Saturday
  • Cost: $40 per participant, which includes a late night snack, breakfast, a Night at the History Museum patch, and next day History Center admission
  • Registration: You must register for each individual program in advance because space is limited and overnighters frequently sell out. Registration links are included on events calendar listings.
  • Waiver: Complete the Night at the History Museum waiver (PDF) and return it to your scout leader. Scout leaders will hand in all waivers upon arrival.

All Girl Scout Night at the History Museum overnighters are in partnership with the Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania. Per Girl Scout requirements, all adults attending partner programs must be officially registered with the Girl Scouts.
