Do you want to use the History Center as a resource for additional badge work? Consider booking either a self-guided or guided tour for a group of at least ten scouts and/or adults.
We have created resources you can print off and bring with you to help fulfill certain badge requirements set by either the Boy Scouts of America and the Girl Scouts of America.
Access to a merit badge counselor is not included with working on self-guided activities or tours for Boy Scouts.

There are many other ways a visit to the History Center can help fulfill badge requirements. A complete listing of Boy Scout Merit Badge requirements can be found on Scouting.org’s Merit Badge page, while Girl Scout Badges can be found on GirlScouts.org’s Award and Badge Explorer page.
In addition, certain public programs, such as Italian Heritage Day and naturalization ceremonies, can help scouts fulfill certain requirements for badges or adventures. Visit the events calendar for more information about the History Center’s public programs.
To book either a tour of the History Center for a group of at least ten people (either scouts or adult leaders), please complete a form on the Request an Education Program page or contact Group Tour Coordinator Christina McElwain at 412-454-6304 or email@example.com.
