Experience the charm of Meadowcroft’s historic Pine Bank Covered Bridge during Washington & Greene Counties’ Annual Covered Bridge Festival.

Originally built in 1871, this iconic bridge once crossed Tom’s Run in the quaint village of Pine Bank, Greene County, Pa. When it faced demolition in 1961, Meadowcroft’s visionary founder, Albert Miller, stepped in to save it—moving the bridge nearly 70 miles to its new home at Meadowcroft.

Today, the beautifully restored pedestrian bridge stands as a proud reminder of Western Pennsylvania’s past. After undergoing a major rehabilitation in 2017, it continues to captivate visitors with its craftsmanship and history.

When this bridge was first built, there were over 10,000 covered bridges across the U.S.—today, fewer than 700 remain. Don’t miss your chance to explore this rare piece of 19th-century engineering!

Please note: The Pine Bank Covered Bridge is open to pedestrians only. Vehicles are not permitted.

Admission

Access to the Pink Bank Covered Bridge and Meadowcroft’s historic villages are free for visitors during the festival. Tours of the Rockshelter will be available for $5 per person.
