Speaker Saturday: Military Service on the Upper Ohio Frontier

Join the Fort Pitt Museum to explore frontier military service.

David Ervin will discuss the different types of military organizations in which frontier inhabitants served, including the militia, state troops, and the Continental Army. Ervin will further explore the wartime political, military and economic conditions of the region that shaped these organizations.

The program will take place in the Fort Pitt Auditorium on the museum’s first floor.
