Create a piece of cookie art with Jasmine Cho.

Join art therapy resident Jasmine Cho to decorate cookies and learn about the power of art therapy at her final drop-in program of the year.

A local artist whose cookies were featured in our 2020 exhibition, Smithsonian’s Portraits of Pittsburgh: Works from the National Portrait Gallery, Jasmine will share her craft, her cookies, and her culminating art therapy project with visitors.

The program will highlight Jasmine’s edible art and her capstone project that honors long-time History Center volunteers and docents who have become part of the museum’s history. Learn their stories, discover the benefits of art therapy, and satisfy your sweet tooth with Jasmine!

Dozens of ketchup bottle-shaped cookies will be available to decorate, and additional art therapy activities will be set up for participants to enjoy.

Admission

This is a drop-in activity that is included with museum admission. Cookies are available to decorate on a first come, first served basis while supplies last. One cookie per person.

Kids receive free admission to the History Center this holiday season, thanks to support from community partner Howard Hanna Real Estate Services.
