Act 48: Historical Image Analysis Workshop
Join the Learning Team for a primary source deep dive using historical image analysis strategies.
Discover how to incorporate historical images into your classroom during this Act 48 workshop. Using archival imagery from the A Woman’s Place: How Women Shaped Pittsburgh, educators will learn how to analyze a variety of historical images and implement innovative techniques with their students.
From elementary students to high schoolers, these strategies will enable students to look at historical images critically and confidently.
In addition to the workshop, attendees will receive a special walkthrough of the A Woman’s Place: How Women Shaped Pittsburgh exhibit and learn about how to access the History Center’s collection of resources for their classrooms!
Admission
$25 for General Admission and $20 for Members. Act 48 credits will be provided for an additional $7 fee.
