Member, sponsors, and exhibit partners are invited for an exclusive first look at the new exhibition, A Woman’s Place: How Women Shaped Pittsburgh.

Join the Heinz History Center on Friday, March 22 and be the first to explore this dynamic new exhibition on history-making women with Western Pennsylvania connections.

A Woman’s Place will highlight the significant role of women in civic, creative, and economic life, and amplify the stories of female entrepreneurs and activists, artists and athletes, scientists and innovators, and barrier breakers and changemakers. Learn how women’s fortitude and resolve helped pave the way for future generations in this interactive, thematic journey through women’s history from the early 1800s through today.

During the exclusive preview, attendees will have the opportunity to meet the museum professionals who brought the exhibit to life, enjoy music and light refreshments, and mingle with fellow members, supporters, and History Center staff.

Admission

This is an invitation-only event for History Center members, sponsors, and exhibition partners. Admission is free, but advance registration is required.
