Family Story Hour
Early learners ages 2-5 and their grownups are invited to join museum educators for Family Story Hour.
Designed for our youngest visitors, Family Story Hour is a time for kids to read, sing, play, and learn about history and the world around them.
Each session is led by a dedicated educator who takes special care to select stories that represent a variety of experiences and perspectives. Family Story Hour supports early literacy skills, contributes to social emotional learning, and builds empathy. Kids will leave learning more about themselves and their neighbors!
In the words of Mister Rogers, “We speak with more than our mouths. We listen with more than our ears.” Reading stories and talking together are how we connect with our community, so come listen, play, and learn at the History Center.
Admission
Family Story Hour is free to attend. The program will take place in the Community Gallery on the fourth floor.
