Guided Tour: Frights and Funerals

Join museum educators to learn about the Celtic origins of Halloween and funeral traditions in Western Pennsylvania during this spectacularly sinister guided tour.

Learn about the numerous funerary objects on view and explore how they represent innovation in funeral traditions, the careers of those who cared for the dead and dying, and the integral aspect of community when it comes to learning about funeral history.

Due to the nature of the tour, we strongly encourage attendees to be at least 12 years old.

Admission

Visitors must sign up for guided tours at the admissions desk prior to each tour. Tours are included with regular museum admission and will be capped at 25 attendees.
