Join History Center docents for a guided tour on Pittsburgh’s industrial boom.  

From the rise of the iron and steel industry to world-changing innovations from Westinghouse, Frick, and Carnegie, Pittsburgh’s rise to industrial dominance in the late 18th and early 19th centuries shaped our region and impacted the world. Learn more about this era and the Pittsburghers who made it happen on this free, guided tour at the History Center. The hour-long tour will be led by a docent and focus on the museum’s Pittsburgh: A Tradition of Innovation exhibition.
