Learn about fascinating stories of Pittsburgh history and enhance your museum experience on the tour “Pittsburgh’s Treasures from Glass to Heinz” at the History Center on Jan. 21.

  • Discover the complex 200-plus year history of this region’s first industry, glass, in Glass: Shattering Notions, an immersive experience of more than 500 glass objects.
  • In Heinz, learn how eight-year-old Henry John Heinz went from selling produce from his mother’s garden in Sharpsburg to growing a worldwide company with more than 5,700 products in 200 countries around the globe.
