Junior Girl Scouts are invited to earn their “Playing the Past” badge at the History Center.

Presented in partnership with the Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania, this badge day workshop is a way for scouts to experience the past like never before!

Junior girl scouts will engage in hands-on activities, explore interactive exhibits, and take part in creative role-playing that will bring history to life as they earn their “Playing the Past” badge.

Guided by skilled museum educators, junior scouts will travel through time as they discover the stories, fashion, and daily life of people from the past. Through project-based challenges and group activities, girls will earn their badges while developing teamwork and critical thinking skills, as well as a deeper understanding of Western Pa. History.

This program is presented in partnership with the Girls Scouts of Western Pennsylvania. The workshop will take place in the museum’s third floor Multipurpose Room.

Space is limited, please register in advance here. Please note, all scouts and adults attending must be registered with the Girl Scouts of Western Pennsylvania.
