Living History at the Fort Pitt Museum
Journey back in time and join the Fort Pitt Museum for living history on the museum lawn.
Discover the historic tribes that once called Pittsburgh home and learn how they lived during the 18th century. Programming includes a cooking demonstration from Shideezhi Emarthla, a citizen of the Seneca-Cayuga Nation.
In addition to living history, visitors are invited to explore the museum and learn about Western Pennsylvania’s pivotal role during the French & Indian War and how The Point became the birthplace of Pittsburgh.
The programming for this event is possible thanks to the support from Rivers of Steel.
