Journey back in time for living history on the museum lawn.

Learn more about the people who once called Pittsburgh home and discover how they employed 18th century hunting and fishing techniques during this free, day-long program. Living historians will discuss colonial angling and hunting and host weapons demonstrations throughout the day.

In addition to Living History, visitors are invited to explore the museum and learn about Western Pennsylvania’s pivotal role during the French & Indian War and how The Point became the birthplace of Pittsburgh.

Admission

Admission to the outdoor Living History Day is free, but regular admission applies to enter the Fort Pitt Museum and access its exhibitions.
