Celebrate America’s 250th with the Heinz History Center

Join the Heinz History Center for Remake Learning Days!

Kids and families are invited to explore what America means to them through art, creativity, and self-expression, starting with one simple question: What does America mean to you?

Inspired by the Heinz History Center’s exhibition, My America: An Illustrated Experience, this hands-on program invites guests to design their own flag using historical symbols, bold colors, and their own unique perspective. Whether creating a personal flag or reimagining the American flag, participants will celebrate the nation’s 250th anniversary in a meaningful and creative way.

Then, create alongside artists from the Pittsburgh Society of Illustrators, the creatives behind My America, as they lead interactive art activities inspired by their work featured in the exhibition.

This event is a part of the Remake Learning Days Learning Festival.
