Join the History Center Learning Team for an evening of inspiration and professional enrichment.

  • Explore five floors of award-winning exhibitions and enjoy an exclusive tour with staff of our newest exhibition, My America: An Illustrated Experience. Meet some of the artists behind the artwork and learn more about their process and methods.
  • Watch a flameworking demonstration with artists from the Pittsburgh Glass Center and make your own mosaic to bring home.
  • Visit the Detre Library & Archives for a primary source deep dive and learn how to incorporate primary sources into your classroom.
  • Discover other educational opportunities in our learning community.

Enjoy light refreshments and cocktails as you connect with fellow educators and learn more about the many educational opportunities the History Center offers for you and your students.

Admission

Admission is free for educators with advance registration.

Teachers may earn two hours of Act 48 credits for an additional fee. The first 50 teachers to register will receive Act 48 credits for free.
