Join us for a special Civic Season Naturalization Ceremony ahead of Independence Day.

A diverse group of people seated in rows of chairs, some holding small American flags, during a naturalization ceremony in a brick-walled room decorated with black-and-white photographs.

The History Center and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) will welcome new U.S. citizens during a special Citizenship Ceremony in the museum’s Mueller Center.

The Citizenship Ceremony is open to the public.

This program is part of the History Center’s America 101 initiative and the 2025 Civic Season. A new tradition co-created by Gen Z and America’s leading cultural institutions, Civic Season kicks off on Juneteenth and runs through the Fourth of July. For nearly three weeks, young Americans are encouraged to engage in civics through social media, live events, volunteering opportunities, and more.

America 101 engages the public to learn American history through public programs, special exhibitions, digital learning tools, and educational curriculum.

America 101 is supported by Nimick Forbesway Foundation.

Admission

The citizenship ceremony is open to the public and will be held in the Mueller Center. Regular admission applies to access History Center exhibitions.
