Catch a vintage “base ball” game at Meadowcroft, where America’s favorite pastime is played the way it was in the 19th century—yes, it was originally two words!
Watch as the Somerset Frosty Sons of Thunder take on the Addison Mountain Stars, playing by authentic 1860s rules and customs.
Bring a blanket or chairs, pack a picnic (don’t forget the peanuts and Cracker Jacks!), and enjoy a laid-back afternoon of classic competition in a historic setting.
The first game begins at 11 a.m. and the second game begins at 1 p.m.
Admission
Access to the Vintage Base Ball game is included with admission. Purchasing tickets in advance is encouraged, but tickets will also be sold at the admissions desk in the Barensfeld Center depending on availability.
