History never goes out of style! Shop ’til you drop at the eighth annual Vintage Pittsburgh retro fair at the Heinz History Center, presented in partnership with the Neighborhood Flea.

With more vendors than ever before, you’re sure to score that perfect find for your home or closet! Find one-of-a-kind vintage clothing, accessories, home décor, vinyl records, and more from dozens of local makers and sellers.

Get crafty and make your own retro shrinky dink, then enjoy tasty food and drinks from local hot spots including Country Hammer Moonshine, hGrace Confections, llc, Nedalgyro, Vibo’s Italian Bakery, and Wigle Whiskey // Threadbare Cider and Mead.

Plus, explore six floors of award-winning exhibits, including the new Smithsonian’s Portraits of Pittsburgh: Works from the National Portrait Gallery exhibition. The History Center is swiping to #PortraitMode with this powerful new exhibit featuring artwork that showcases more than 100 history-making Americans with Pittsburgh connections. Dive into their stories through rarely seen artifacts from the History Center’s collection, including Gene Kelly’s iconic suit from the classic movie “Singin’ in the Rain,” a gorgeous dress worn by actress and singer Lillian Russell, and a dagger used in the attempted assassination of industrialist Henry Clay Frick.

Admission

On Saturday, April 4, the History Center will offer a special discounted admission rate to ALL museum visitors throughout the day: $10 for general admission (a savings of $8 off the regular $18 admission price) and $9 for students and children ages 6 to 17. Children ages 5 and under and History Center members get in free!

Admission includes full access to the museum and the Vintage Pittsburgh retro fair.
