Holidays at the History Center

There is so much to see and do at the Smithsonian’s home in Pittsburgh this holiday season! Starting Nov. 19, the History Center’s Great Hall will transform into a winter wonderland that showcases our region’s holiday traditions and memorable objects from Kaufmann’s Santaland. But wait, there’s more!

50 Years Later: The Immaculate Reception

This holiday season, the Sports Museum will commemorate the Immaculate Reception’s golden anniversary with a new exhibit installation, public program, merchandise, and more.

Batch-A-Toys Drive Returns

Support families in need this holiday season by donating new and unwrapped toys to the Batch Foundation’s annual Batch-A-Toys drive. Toys can be dropped off at the History Center.

Time is running out to see stunning works of art from The Met, the Smithsonian’s Hirshhorn Museum, and more as part of History Center’s riveting exhibition, Pittsburgh’s John Kane: The Life & Art of an American Workman, which closes on Jan. 8.
