Join us at the History Center’s Detre Library & Archives for a variety of ongoing programs designed to educate and engage participants. Our public and educational programs are developed to connect participants with our collections and to share our information resources.
Previous offerings include Preserving Your Family Treasures, Finding Your Family History, Civil War Genealogy, Personal Digital Archiving, Italian Genealogy, and programs to celebrate American Archives Month.
In addition, the Detre Library & Archives also regularly engages students in discovery-based educational programs. These programs present the Detre Library & Archives as a hands-on history lab in which students critically analyze original primary source materials from our collection. These student programs are integrated into a number of the History Center’s ongoing educational programs.
